Community Breakfast looks at school funding

Pennsylvania’s “School Funding Formula or Formula for Disaster” is the topic for the April 3 Community Relations Breakfast scheduled for Thursday, April 3, 7:30 a.m. at the Clarion American Legion Banquet Room.

The breakfast, open to the public, will feature two local school superintendents, Ted Pappas of Clarion-Limestone and George White of Clarion Area, talking about the impact of the formula. Reservations for the breakfast can be made by calling 393-2705 or emailing spacerequest@clarion.edu. The breakfast is $5 at the door.

The Clarion University Relations Committee, a combination of local citizens and university representatives, holds the Clarion Community Breakfast. Two breakfasts are held each year, with one looking at community issues and one at university topics.
