Professional Development Day applications available

Clarion University students may attend the upcoming 2008 Professional Development Day to be held May 8, at the University of Pittsburgh’s William Penn Union.

The event is hosted by PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) Pittsburgh. It will feature various insightful presentations on an array of public relations and professional topics and is open to students in any major.

The tentative schedule of events will include:

•8:15 a.m.: Registration and continental breakfast

•9-9:50 a.m.: Leadership/teamwork and recreativity presentations

•10-10:50 a.m.: Brand marketing and event planning presentations

•11-11:50 a.m.: Crisis communications and social media presentations

•12-12:45 p.m.: Lunch

•12:45 - 2 p.m.: Keynote presentation, speaker to be announced.

Registration forms and additional information will be available April 21 and can be completed online at prssa.org.

Discounts and group transportation are available for Public Relations Student Society of America members (PRSSA.)
