Clarion economics department concludes series Clarion University’s Economics Department concluded its Business Research Forum/Workshops with four presentations in Still Hall. The presenters included: Dr. Paul Woodburne, director of the Center for Economic Education, “Game Theory in the Classroom.” Shannon Baker, “Forecasting Economic Conditions in Six South American Countries.” Baker, a senior accountant major, is a daughter of Joseph and Carol Baker of Hermitage and is a graduate of West Middlesex High School. Lucas Schaeffer, “Analysis of Wealth Differentials in Selected Central American Nations.” Schaeffer, a senior international business major, is a son of Michael and Julie Schaeffer of Sligo and is a graduate of Clarion Area High School. Rozlynd Vares, “Inside Sub-Saharan Africa: An Empirical Cross-Country Study of Factors which Cultivate Government Corruption and Politicide.” Vares, a senior economics major, is a daughter of James Vares of Kaneohe, Hawaii, and is a graduate of Kamehameha High School. |
