Clarion University hosts legal education seminar

The Clarion University Center for Legal Education recently conducted its 30th legal education seminar for lawyers and judges at Clarion University – Venango Campus on April 25.

Thirty attorneys were in attendance. The video-conference covered topics such as a Pennsylvania legislative update, estate planning, family law, a federal and state tax update, personal injury litigation techniques, and mediation (alternative dispute resolution). A judges’ panel was also a part of the presentation.

Speakers included Senator Mary Jo White, Dan Johnson, Esq., Joanne Ross Wilder, Esq., Leo Hitt, Esq., Neil Rosen, Esq., Charles Alexander, Esq., and judges John Foradora and Richard Masson.

The Director of the Center is Jeffrey Eicher, professor of finance at Clarion University. The next conference will be held at the Clarion Holiday Inn on Friday, Oct. 24.
